one of THOSE days

Yes, I am having one of THOSE days. I have no photos to add here, but use your imaginations to invision what would be here:

1. I took Davis SCREAMING out of Kohl's today. Yes, he turned into THAT kid for about 10 minutes and, unlike a LOT of parents in today's society, I actually backed up the threat of "I will take you out of here" with action. He immediately started screaming more with "I okay, I okay, I good" which of course had several ladies laughing at the checkout. Big thanks to GiGi for purchasing the items we had ready to go while I carted the wailing one out the door.

Have I mentioned that Davis is two years old?

2. Naptime has not gone well today. Note to self: Over tired kid and over tired mom = NOT GOOD. And that's all I have to say about that.

Just thought I would remind everyone that, while Davis is USUALLY a great kid, we all have our days that are less than Sunshine, Puppies, and Frosting Covered cookies. I'm sure anyone with kids has SOOOOO been in this place with me.

The unfortunate world that I live in, is one where my 2 y/o is like that ALL THE TIME and the good little sunshine is a rare treat. I love 2. Someone told me 3 is worse. But really, how could that be??

Sorry you had a rough day. Of all the stores, that's the one that Jason screams the most and the loudest. I wonder what it is that makes LO's hate that store?

Well, at least you did what your momma taught you. :-) I can remember personally being dragged out of (what was at that time) the Taylor/Rexall at Chenoweth Lane & Brownsboro one time when I really, really wanted some ponytail holders for my hair and GiGi was havin' NONE of it. He'll grow out of it. I mean, I didn't, but I'm weird.

It's like looking into a crystal ball one year into the future. Sorry you had a rough one. Good parenting on the follow through. I would have paid money for the "I good" speach on the way out the door.

Hmm...I was living that life yesterday at the doctor's office. Got love the terrible 2s. And as the nurse said...if it doesn't happen at 2 it happens at 3.
