JULY!

It's JULY!!!! Woohoo! I'm thinking back to two years ago and being Large and In-Charge, working like a crazy woman, and being ready to meet Davis. Oh, how the time flies.

Now we have the little man who is starting to really talk up a storm and show his pretty laid back personality. It was funny last week: Dagger would forever take the toy that Davis was playing with and want it for himself. Davis would just kind of shrug and then move on to something else... so much like his daddy in that respect. But BOY OH BOY... if you cross him, his momma's temper comes right on out!! He will stomp those feet like nobody's business. But even that is still pretty rare.

He will repeat ANYTHING you say now. Which is pretty funny. We're working on "Antidisestablishmentarianism" just because if he says it, Aunt Mimi has promised to pay for his college education. ;-) (Even if it is at Indiana Wesleyan) He's pretty easy to understand except for one thing... he LOVES to take your hand to go wherever it is that he wants to go and then he will tell you to "Sheet". Well, that's putting it nicely. Take the EE and change it to an I. Sometimes that's what it sounds like when he says it. In our world, that means SIT. And after each time that he says it, we calmly repeat the word SIT pronounced correctly. And try not to crack up laughing. You get the point.

What a buster. Love of my life I tell you... Chris and I are certainly blessed!!!

Here's a pic of Davis eating some "ICECEEM" at the 4th of July picnic last Saturday:

Looking forward to the Fourth of July Parade that we will be participating in this Friday!! The wagon is decorated and we are ready to yell HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!

Almost forgot to add: Big Shout out to my Brother-in-law James who made the Cover of Florida Today this past weekend. You can check out the article here:
