Catching you up.

All right, so here's a recap of our weekend/ end of last week. Friday was Davis' 2nd Birthday! Woohoo! I made him a Tshirt that said "WooHoo" on the front & "I'm Two" on the back... he proudly wore it around all day long!

He got more presents than you could shake a stick at including new George Videos, George plates and bowls, a Train Table, LOTS of trains, a new Tonka Crane and a TON of books! He already loves them all, even if his mean parents have taken a LOT of stuff and put it in storage!

Cake was a HUGE hit this year... he loved being the center of the singing attention and boy oh boy, He sure does open wide to fit in as much cake as possible!

Friday was a bit of a cluster though... the guys showed up to paint the outside of the condo (yay!) but one of the painters proceeded to track paint from the back deck, through my living room and dining room & into my guest bathroom (boo!). Which sent Chris and I into PANIC mode as we attempted to salvage the carpet. (Which, surprisingly, we did!) So Davis spent most of the day with his grandparents while we continued to work on prepping the house for the big sale! Things look great! We had the carpets professionally cleaned this morning, so I will take some pics of all the improvements and get those up for you all here in the next day or two.

Saturday, I worked and Chris continued prepping the house and cleaning his little heart out. What a good hubby who likes everything in it's place!! :-) And Sunday was the final prep.

Monday brought Davis' Two year Appointment. The stats: Height 37 inches (85%) Weight 29 pounds (50%) Head Humongous as usual (100%). But the doc did think that his leg was doing well. We will have a follow up in 6 months just to make sure that his growth plate wasn't damaged and that we don't need to head in for surgery! (Keep on praying that we don't!)

And that's all I have for right now... just your usual really busy week for us. Boy, do I hope we can sell this house quickly. It sure would make us feel like we made the right decision.

Sounds like you have done all you need to do to get the house ready. We'll pray it sells fast for you. We will keep praying for the Big Boy's leg. I'm sure it will be fine. God is so GOOD to take care of us if we just ask.
Love the t-shirt. Do believe he enjoyed his cake and all his presents.
I agree, you have a very good husband. Although I'm a little partial.
