Well, after the fallout of the job that I had lined up at the beginning of this month, I hit the ground running to find something. And to hopefully find something quickly.
In a strange twist of events, I ended up "cold calling" a couple of PET imaging places to see if they needed anyone in the Louisville area. I wasn't expecting much, because I know the ins and outs of the Louisville market and hadn't heard of anything on the horizon.
So I sent an email to a place in Massachusetts. And sure enough, they contacted me back. And then the regional manager contacted me. Then the local manager contacted me. And well, ends up they are starting a couple of new ventures here in Louisville and just so happened to be looking for someone like me. Even funnier, they offered the job w/out an interview because they had already heard about me from SEVERAL people here in town both when I lost my job back in August and just recently.
So, I am now employed!! Woohoo!! I will be working for Alliance Imaging which is the nations largest provider of mobile Imaging units.

For now, I will be working PRN (as needed) but mostly just training time and Saturday's until the full-time positions open up. (they are thinking that will happen in Late June/Early July)
Best part of all, I'm actually being paid for all my degrees this time!!!
Thanks for the prayers. Continue to pray for us during this time of transition and through the next couple of months until my schedule becomes more reliable. God is good. I am VERY thankful that I'm wanted as a Nuclear Technologist again!
