Happy Mother's Day

First things first, Happy Mother's Day to all the mommas out there!

To MY Mom
Thanks for showing me unconditional love, thanks for not killing me Easter 1985, thanks for hundreds of crustless PB & J Sandwiches and most of all, thanks for introducing me to Jesus.
And it's around now that I want to say thanks for giving me an example of the kind of mother I want to be.

To my Mother-in-law(s)
Thanks for raising such an awesome, Godly man who is by far the best Daddy and Husband around.

Now on to my Mother's day:
I was awakened by the Thump, Thump, Thump of Peg-leg walking into my room, proudly holding out a Mother's Day Card. Too Cute!! I also got some Apple Butter Toast (Yum-O!) in bed. What a nice treat!

It was a VERY yucky, cold, rainy day here, so we mostly just hung out at home. Not too much to report. Davis is getting the hang of the cast now... only real problem is when he tries to walk a little too fast and takes a header into the carpet. Poor kid. We head to the Orthopedist's at 3pm on Monday, so we will post a report after that. Thanks for the prayers!! He really is doing pretty well!

Mother's Day Loot:
A greeting from the little man

Some flowers (Beautiful Pansies) from my Mom and Dad

Thanks for such a sweet message! Dad and I are so proud of you and Chris for being parents who care about the most important part of Davis' life! We feel blessed that our first grandchild has such Godly parents who will rear him in the ways of the Lord!!
(Sorry about that 1985 Easter "thing"--it's tough being a Mom, right??!!?) Love you guys tons!!!! Mom
