Happy 2008 Y'all!

So here I sit on the Second day of January... ah, resolutions that need to be broken, Blogs that need to be created, Scrapbooking to do, oh and the need to clean the house. Where to begin?

Christmas Round Up: Christmas went really well. Once we got mom out of the Hospital for the SECOND TIME in a month, things started to come together. (She was discharged on Dec. 21, 2007) Jean and Scott (Chris' mom and step-dad) came to Louisville for Christmas as did Laura and Kelly (MB's Sister and Brother-in-law). It was really good to see everyone and it was ultimately a pretty low-key holiday.

Santa arrived on the 24th... proceeded to eat some cookies and leave Davis a note and *tah-dah* a red wagon. Davis then refused to get OUT of the wagon for the entire day. (Classic.) He would even collect all of his other treasures from the day and put them in the wagon with him.

New Year's Round up: After watching Kentucky try their BEST to Lose the Music City Bowl, MB rang in the new year happy with the football team and sad about the Basketball team... It's gonna be a LONG March for this family! MB then hit the sales on New Year's Day and found some great deals while Davis and Chris "bonded" at home. It was, overall, a good day.

Resolutions for the New Year: Catch up with my Scrapbooking (yeah, right), Keep up with Davis' prayer journal, Stay on top of the blog, and enjoy many new experiences as possible this coming year! I think I can handle that. ;-)

Have a good one, everybody!
