Today, Davis got to go face to face with the big guy for the first time. It was a success! No crying, no fits, just the desire to keep his blankie (which is becoming a permanent fixture these days). You can't blame a kid for wanting to keep his blankie.
A couple of weeks ago, we walked by the Santa in the mall and thought we would do a "trial run". Santa was heading on break to feed the reindeer so Davis got to be up close and personal for a minute. He seemed great with the Jolly Saint Nick... even wanted to give him a high five!
So today, Davis acted like it was no big deal at all. Just went up, patted the suit, climbed in his lap, checked out the beard, and then played Peek A Boo (which resulted in a big smile that was captured on film!!).
Santa seems to speak Toddler... He seemed to think that Davis asked for a Wagon. Now to see if he's been a "good boy" or not!
