The Disney movie Cars... It's like Crystal Meth

So, FRIDAY led us to our first trip for a little radiation Ex-Utero. Davis had to get a Chest Xray to rule out the pneumonia. The antibiotic he was on was eating him alive, so the doc's thought it best to double check that it truly was Pneumonia. Ever the trooper, Davis did pretty well for a freakishly strong 17month old.

The Xray was negative, antibiotics were stopped, and now we just have the random cough here and there. So much better!!

In an effort to keep my son from coughing all the time, I found it best to keep him "calm".. which in our world means sitting in his lounger chair and watching TV. The newest addiction: The Disney/Pixar movie Cars. Seriously, you put that thing in and you can count on a good 2 hours of quiet from Davis. It's the craziest thing ever. Now, I'm not one to 'plunk' our kid in front of the TV as a babysitter, but if it keeps him calm, it stops the coughing, which makes sure there is no puking, which means we can all co-exist in happiness.

For now, Davis may watch Cars. As many times as he wants. And I will continue to quote the movie to Chris when he gets home from work. Even if he doesn't want to hear it.
