It started with us watching Tess last week. On Thursday night, Chris had to work out at WorldPort b/c of the "ice storm" that was coming in. Tess kept waking up and acting crazy, but I didn't think too much about it. Just figured she was tired from the night before w/her grandmother. Well Friday morning, the normall super active kiddo was lying on the floor for 30-40 minutes at a time and TOTALLY acting not right.
The handy dandy Temporal Scan Thermometer sprang into action. Verdict: 102.8 degree fever.
Kay came and got her and whisked her off to the doctor where MONO was diagnosed. Yes, you read that correctly, MONO in a 19 month old kid!!!
Clorox, our new best friend, sprang into action... and cleaned EVERYTHING in the house.
So far, one week and no sign of Mono. Here's hoping we dodged a BIG bullet!!!
