So we all know I've been a little "worried" about Davis' speech development. (And yes, everyone, I know that boys take a little longer, yada, yada, yada... I'm a mom, and it's my job to worry!!)
Anyhow, seems we might be making a verbal breakthrough this week. He's coming up with new words everyday (yay!) and made a BIG step in identifying people this past weekend.
After a go round at the dinner table over at my mom's he identified Pop (his favorite word), DaDa, Mum (that's mom but with a british flair?) and then after a little prompting, out popped...
AUNT MIMI!!!
Yes, we have a new nickname... Aunt Amy is apparently Aunt Mimi. And then he proceeded to repeat it like 10 times. Good job kid, way to to wrap her around your finger a little tighter!! ;-)
So, we technically have Aunt Laura (wahwah) down... so now on to Aunt Kimberly.
