Okay, so the neurosurgeon appointment went well in that Emmy got that "all clear" we were expecting. She does have a little bit of Positional Plagiocephaly that I was aware of, so we will just be keeping an eye on it for now. The part of the appointment that did not go well would be the FOUR AND A HALF HOURS that we spent there waiting to be seen. Still sends my blood pressure through the roof thinking about it. But, better to put it behind me. Unfortunately, we did miss Davis' christmas program at school since we were sitting in the doctor's office. But Gigi, PopPop and Mimi said Davis did well singing "Away in a Manger". Still trying to hunt down someone who taped the class.
Now we are on the home stretch for Christmas. Richard and Esther are due to arrive a week from today, so we're excited about that. (Jean and Scott are going to Florida to see Dagger this year.) We went to see Santa the other day and that did well... not a bit of hesitation from Davis who just bounded up, put his hands on Santa's knees and said "Hi There, Santa. I want a Batman Cave. And Emmy wants a Teddy Bear." I mean he really is 3 going on 35. Just not a timid bone in his body. I'm so proud of how he's been doing... really doing well at school with his letters and numbers. Spells his name like a champ. Can almost completely write his name on his own. Potty trained for 3 months now with VERY few accidents. What a big boy.
I should have Christmas cards out this week... so be on the lookout for yours. For today, here are some pictures:
Kiddos with Santa:

Emmy's Three month Picture:

(and my newest dilemma: to photoshop the hemangioma or not. So this one, we did photoshop "the spot" out. Just so when she's bigger, she can have some pictures with and some without. And really, it's just easier than explaining to EVERYONE what the thing on her head is.)
And the family picture that didn't make it to the christmas card b/c Chris' head got chopped off:
