just some ramblings...

I would like to take the chance to apologize to everyone for the delay on pictures. I know, I know... Let's just say it hasn't been the best of times around here.

I won't go into ALL the details, because it just gets me worked up... so the bare-bones are: My old Company (Alliance) proclaims to have a contract with my new company (Jewish) that prohibits me from taking the new job unless I

a) Quit Alliance and remain unemployed for 12 months.
or
b) if Jewish will buy out my contract from Alliance for about $750,000.

Neither of these things will be happening. So, I am still going to be working for Alliance who I will be calling the "Slave Owners" from now on. I don't want to work for a company who treats me like this, but I have no other options. Yes, we have talked with a Lawyer. No, there is nothing we can do to change ANY of this.

It makes me sick. I am terrified about having to travel so much once Emmy gets here. I don't know what more to say about any of it.

While all of these disputes were going on, I of course went into Pre-Term Labor. I had been having contractions pretty regularly for the last two months, but they got A LOT WORSE with the stress. So now I am on maternity leave. When I don't think about the work drama, I do well. When I get worked up, so does Emmy. But for now, I'm on Short Term Disability from the Slave Owners until 6 to 8 weeks after Emmy gets here.

So needless to say, pictures and stories are the LAST thing that have been on my mind lately. I apologize for all the people who have been annoyed for not being informed up to the minute. I'll try to be better about it once my disposition improves.
