Okay, so speaking of STORMS...
Once a hurricane and then a tropical storm IKE blew through here on Sunday afternoon packing hurricane forced winds and a penchant for Louisville's Power lines. Which meant no power for us for a day or two! Worst power outages in the city since the 1974 tornadoes. There are still about 200000 people without power at last check and they might be out for 2 weeks! Can you imagine?
So, just wanted to quickly post for those of you out there that we are Okay, no damage to our house except for the power outage, and we are none the worse for the wear. I just have to go and check the 132 emails in my inbox now. :-(
And for any of my Louisville/So Indiana check ins from the WiFi at Starbucks, give us a holler if you need some electricity. We'd be happy to share. :-)
