Happy June!

Well, hello there friends... it's June!!

Davis got his cast taken off today (HOORAY!) Xrays showed that the break had indeed happened at the head of the Tibia, dangerously close to the growth plate. What that means: There is about a 10% chance that we will be heading in for surgery in about a year to straighten out anything that grows the wrong way. BUT... we are gonna look at that as a slim chance and keep on trucking.

The current timeline: Davis wants nothing to do with Weight Bearing at the moment, and probably won't want to walk for the next week to 10 days. Then he'll probably limp for the next month or so. We are to watch for the right leg going "bowlegged" over the next 6 to 12 months to see if we need to head back for further evaluation.

For now, Chris and I are just happy that 1. everything okay at the moment and 2. Davis can have a decent bath tonight. (PU!)

If anyone would like to come over in the next week and deal with a REALLY grumpy kid who just wants to walk, feel free to stop in.

Today's pictures:
1. Let's go momma!!

2. Free at last.
